Trainee Programmes

A traineeship at Noble is a valuable, coveted and rewarding experience. Candidates hired as Commodities Trainees may spend the first 12 months rotating through our businesses and middle office to establish a platform for your future career.

At the end of your first 12 months in the trainee programme, we will assess your performance and abilities. Upon successful completion of the training programme (12 or 18 months from programme start), you will be offered a full time position in the company. This position could be at a trading desk in one of our divisions, in middle office, operations, or research, or in one of our support functions.


We are seeking bright, ambitious, self-motivated individuals to join our Internship Programme. Successful candidates will join Noble on either a summer internship (six weeks to six months in duration) or one-year internship placement in one of our commercial businesses or corporate functions. The placement focuses on gaining real work experience, building skills and knowledge in operations, finance, risk management, research and an introduction to trading concepts.

Your internship is an exciting opportunity to learn about the commodities industry, while working in a dynamic, multinational company with a diverse commodity businesses portfolio operating in 38 countries on five continents. We see the Internship Programme as the first step in hiring young talent into the organisation, and an important part of our approach to building the future leaders of Noble. Upon graduating our aim is that our interns return as Commodity Trainees.
